Presenting our high quality Uno Vita 1.3 ATA portable hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a therapy which the patient is entirely enclosed in a pressure chamber breathing pure oxygen (O2) at greater than one atmosphere pressure. In our atmosphere, the pressure is 1 ATA. Air contains 21% oxygen and approximately 78% nitrogen. Under normal circumstances, oxygen is transported throughout the body only by red blood cells. With HBOT, oxygen is dissolved into all the blood and in the cerebral spinal fluids of body, the plasma, the central nervous system fluids, the lymph, and the bone and can be carried to areas where circulation is limited, diminished or blocked. In this way, extra oxygen can reach all the damaged tissues and the body can support its own healing process. The increased oxygen enhances the ability of white blood cells to kill bacteria, reduces swelling and allows new blood vessels to grow more rapidly into the affected areas. It is a simple, non-invasive, and painless treatment.
