HOW TO USE
BIOPTRON Light Therapy is to be performed individually. Depending on the medical condition to be treated, the BIOPTRON Light Therapy treatment will only take a few minutes once or twice a day. The hyperpolarization of BIOPTRON medical light is a new revolutionary feature of our technology, based on the extraordinary optical properties of the C60 molecule, known as fullerene. The 1996 Nobel Prize in chemistry was awarded for the serendipitous discovery of this remarkable molecule, a third allotropic form of elemental carbon in nature. The hyperpolarization of BIOPTRON medical light is a new revolutionary feature of our technology, based on the extraordinary optical properties of the C60 molecule, known as fullerene. The 1996 Nobel Prize in chemistry was awarded for the serendipitous discovery of this remarkable molecule, a third allotropic form of elemental carbon in nature. In Japan, a study was conducted about the physical effects of negative air ions on humans in an experimental sauna room equipped with an ionizer. The surface temperatures of the foreheads, hands, and legs in the sauna with negative ions were significantly higher than those in the sauna without ions. The pulse rates and sweat produced in the sauna with ions were significantly higher than those in the sauna without ions. The results suggest that negative ions may amplify the effects on humans of the sauna.These results show that negative ions can increase the effects of sauna. It means we can achieve comparable results even at lower temperatures in a sauna. This is a good news for people who cannot stand high temperatures, yet still want to achieve the cleaning and therapeutic effects of sauna.

Near Infrared
Near infrared (NIR) is the shortest infrared wavelength. Scientific research shows that when delivered at the vital wavelength of 880nm, without extreme heat or light, NIR promotes skin renewal, cell health, wound healing, and tissue growth. LEDs are effective because they can trigger a natural photo-biochemical reaction, similar to how plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into plant tissue. And when the wave is pulsed, it can travel deeper into tissues. mPulse saunas got their name because the LED pulsate for optimal benefits. 

Mid Infrared
Mid infrared (MIR) is a longer wavelength that can penetrate deeper into the body’s soft tissue where inflammation occurs and speeds up the healing process. To produce MIR, sauna heaters must be able to maintain a surface temperature of 210⁰C. Though many sauna companies claim to provide full spectrum, the material used in their heaters actually melts at the high temperature required for MIR. We worked with engineers and scientists to source a high tech material made to withstand the temperature required. 

Far Infrared
The longest wavelength, far infrared (FIR), reaches deepest into the body, where toxins are stored.
