Your body needs B vitamins to help release energy from the foods you eat, such as carbohydrates, fat, and protein. Vitamin B coenzymes are also crucial to the metabolic pathways that generate the cellular energy your body needs to function.1-3 And BioActive Complete B-Complex delivers a wide variety of the B vitamins that your body needs to thrive:

100 mg of Vitamin B1 (thiamine) — Thiamine helps convert carbohydrates into usable energy. It also supports healthy nervous system function and both RNA and DNA production.

75 mg of Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) — Our formula contains vitamin B2 in the form of riboflavin and riboflavin-5'-phosphate, the active form of the nutrient. The body naturally converts riboflavin to its riboflavin-5'-phosphate form, which the body then uses for energy production.

100 mg of Vitamin B3 (niacin) — Niacin supports healthy energy transfer reactions. It affects healthy metabolism of glucose, fat, and alcohol … and supports healthy cholesterol levels for those already within normal range.

500 mg of Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) — Vitamin B5 plays a role in hemoglobin synthesis, hormones, neurotransmitters, and the oxidation of carbohydrates and fatty acids.

100 mg of Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine HCI and pyridoxal 5'-phosphate) — Vitamin B6 affects amino acid and lipid metabolism. Along with B5, it also plays a role in neurotransmitter and hemoglobin synthesis. B6 is also involved in gluconeogenesis, the formation of glucose from non-carbohydrate sources. And while pyridoxine must be converted by the liver into pyridoxal 5'-phosphate before it can be utilized, our formula includes this nutrient from the start.

1,000 mcg of Biotin — This B vitamin is a cofactor of enzymes involved in fatty acid metabolism. It's also essential to maintaining metabolic homeostasis, or the balance between your body's many unique chemical pathways and processes.

400 mcg of Folate (5-MTHF) — Folate helps maintain red blood cell production within normal range, and also helps your body make and maintain healthy DNA, and the active form of folate (5-MTHF) is up to seven times more bioavailable than folic acid. Plus, BioActive Complete B-Complex also delivers 50 mg of para-aminobenzoic acid (or PABA) to encourage folic acid synthesis.

300 mcg of Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) — Vitamin B12 affects nerve cell growth and supports heart health by helping to maintain healthy homocysteine levels already within normal range.4-7 And methylcobalamin B12 is the form that is biologically active in your brain.

100 mg of Inositol — This B vitamin is a primary component of phospholipids that make up your cellular membranes. Inositol is essential for calcium and insulin signal transduction; the unique chemical reactions that occur when molecules attach to a receptor on a cell's membrane.

BioActive Complete B-Complex helps you get all of the daily vitamin B that your body needs. It is the perfect complement to any well-rounded nutritional regimen. Try our BioActive Complete B-Complex formula today.

Super Ubiquinol CoQ10 with Enhanced Mitochondrial Support (200 mg) (30)

Super Ubiquinol CoQ10 with Enhanced Mitochondrial Support™
The mitochondria are the cells’ energy powerhouses, and coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is an essential component of healthy mitochondrial function. CoQ10 is required to convert the energy from fats and sugars into usable cellular energy. Yet, the body’s production of CoQ10 declines significantly with advancing age.47 With an ample amount of CoQ10, mitochondria can work most efficiently throughout the entire body — including the most densely populated area, the heart. CoQ10 is also a potent antioxidant, helping protect proteins, and DNA of mitochondria from oxidation and supporting mitochondrial function.

More people are supplementing with CoQ10 than ever before. One reason is increased awareness that “statin” drugs used to lower LDL and cholesterol deplete CoQ10 levels in the blood, and possibly the tissues. What most doctors don’t know, however, is that normal aging may result in more of a reduction in CoQ10 than taking statins. For example, while statin drugs have been shown to reduce plasma CoQ10 by nearly 40%,51 the aging process reduces CoQ10 levels in the heart muscle wall by 72%. What is particularly frightening is the deficit caused by the dual effects of aging53 and statin drug use that can result in severe depletion of cellular vitality.

CoQ10 is notoriously difficult to absorb. When it comes to choosing a CoQ10 supplement, the primary factor is how many swallowed milligrams actually make it into your bloodstream.

Scientific studies show that ubiquinol absorbs up to 8 times greater than ubiquinone, and higher levels of ubiquinol remain in the blood far longer than ubiquinone. In studies measuring exercise-induced fatigue, ubiquinol was 90% more effective than ubiquinone. In middle-aged mice, ubiquinol was shown to be 40% more effective in slowing measurements of aging compared to ubiquinone. Life Extension offers the highly bioavailable ubiquinol form of CoQ10 in a patented delivery system with a superior absorption level. This formulation contains an ingredient called PrimaVie® shilajit that research shows doubles levels of CoQ10 in mitochondria. Shilajit has been shown to help restore and sustain cellular energy. The latest studies reveal that when shilajit is combined with CoQ10, cellular energy gains substantially increase.

In a breakthrough preliminary study in mice, the combination of CoQ10 and shilajit produced a 56% increase in cellular energy production in the brain — 40% better than CoQ10 alone. In muscle there was a 144% increase, or 27% better than CoQ10 alone.

Researchers have found that shilajit works to boost CoQ10’s beneficial effects by:

  • Stabilizing CoQ10 in its superior ubiquinol form, thereby prolonging its action at the cellular level.
  • Facilitating more efficient delivery of CoQ10 into the mitochondria, resulting in greater cellular energy output.
  • Scientific analysis shows that shilajit itself is rich in essential compounds that promote mitochondrial metabolism. Part of shilajit’s beneficial effects derive from its ability to help the mitochondria convert fats and sugars into adenosine triphosphate, or ATP, the main source of cellular energy.

Super Ubiquinol CoQ10 with Enhanced Mitochondrial Support™ combines super absorbable ubiquinol CoQ10 with shilajit to generate a powerful synergy that supports more youthful cellular energy production than CoQ10 alone.
