Beef Hydrolyzed Collagen 226 grams

Beef Hydrolyzed Collagen is the unique combination of amino acids in concentrated levels that can promote healing and conditioning over other proteins especially for bone and joint health care. This low molecular weight protein is easily digested for healthy enrichment in minutes after ingestion. It will not congeal because it has been hydrolyzed for quick assimilation and improved hydration to the connective tissue. Collagen is important to nitrogen balance, now considered an anti-aging product as it supports age related cartilage damage, and collagen loss. The ranchers in the areas of Cordoba, Rosario and Mendoza traditionally raise their cattle in herds that graze freely on the natural grasslands. What we have found through rigorous testing standards by outside laboratories is that we never find insecticides, pesticides, herbicides, steroids, antibiotics or hormones in our collagen or gelatin. GLG has been producing the world’s finest quality collagen and gelatin since our inception in 1922. Our book titled Gelatin in Nutrition and Medicine was originally published in 1945 and today is still viewed as the fundamental source of truth on gelatin and collagen. Our passion endures in our continued research on the role of collagen in human diseases such as Osteoarthritis and Osteoporosis. We continually study the current and potential future benefits collagen produces for cartilage, tendons, and yes, bones. Currently, we are conducting an advanced research study on how collagen can benefit bone density. Science says that up to 30% of all the protein in the body is collagen and up to 70% of the proteins in the connective tissues are composed of collagen. Collagen is the precursor of gelatin and, at Great Lakes Gelatin®; we extract collgen first and then form gelatin through congealing processes. Both have the same health benefits. Our Gelatin and Collagen Hydrolysate are all Type l. Don’t let that be misleading to your use Type I, II or III are all found in different molecular weights in tissue. However, once the body ingests any one of the types, it will break down into the least common denominator known as peptides and polypeptides. This is done by the enzymatic action of the stomach. We find no scientific proof that Type III is better than Type I. Traditionally, gelatin is used in the food and pharmaceutical industry to make desserts, soft gel capsules, gummy bears, etc. Our research and development team is proud of the advances they have made in perfecting our Collagen Hydrolysate, which is 95% bioavailable to the human body.

WHAT IS HYDROLYZED COLLAGEN?
Hydrolyzed Collagen is a unique protein devised of a combination of amino acids. These amino acids are crucial to users because the body’s natural ability to produce supporting amounts of connective tissue diminishes after the age of 25. This low molecular weight protein is easily digested and supports the body’s natural healing process. All of the amino acids collectively offer nutritional support to the body. Hydrolyzed Collagen is beneficial in strengthening the synovial membrane that holds the synovial fluids between the joints. It also helps repair and maintain cartilage weakened by overuse through impact and stress.Hydrolyzed Collagen is the nutritional link in supplying amino acids like glycine, proline and lysine that are required by the body to build connective tissue.

COLLAGEN CAN BENEFIT HAIR, SKIN TISSUE, MUSCLE, CARTILAGE, LIGAMENTS AND BLOOD CELL GROWTH
Great Lakes Gelatin® Hydrolyzed Collagen will not congeal because it has been hydrolyzed for rapid assimilation into the body. Collagen is important to nitrogen balance and may prevent age-related cartilage damage and collagen loss. We think of it primarily as a food. Our easy to use Collagen Hydrolysate is nearly flavorless and odorless and continues to help thousands of users every day. All of us at Great Lakes Gelatin® are excited about what the future holds for our customers and their road to improved health through the use of our products.
