What is C60?
C60 is a recently discovered carbon molecule which has amazing and almost magical properties. This has meant an increasing number of people have been asking questions. We deal with some of those questions to help people make a more informed decision about whether to take C60 and experiencing its potential benefits.
C60 belongs to a group of carbon molecules called fullerenes, the more common ones include C70, C72, C76, C84 with some having 100's of carbon atoms. These ball-shaped molecules were named after the structures designed by the American architect Buckminster Fuller, so in addition to being called carbon fullerenes they are referred to as 'buckyballs'.
Structure of the carbon 60 molecule
C60 or carbon C60 is a newly discovered form of carbon that research has shown, when dissolved in olive oil and given to rats, almost doubled their life span. Unsurprisingly, this was picked up by sections of the health and fitness community who began taking it themselves. Since 2012 millions of doses of C60 have been taken by hundreds of thousands of people and many of their stories have been little short of miraculous. C 60 is a powerful antioxidant, probably the most powerful, thought to be 172 times more potent than vitamin C. Antioxidants neutralize free radicals that, if allowed to build up in the body, lead to inflammation and can cause a range of serious conditions. Unlike almost all antioxidants C60 is not inactivated once it has neutralized a free radical and can reset itself allowing it act against them again and again. So much so that it has been given the name 'free radical sponge'. Here are some of the inflammatory conditions that the customers, have reported improvements in after taking C60.
Can C60 help reduce inflammation?
There are many studies that have shown C60 has reduced inflammation in the lab. We have direct reports of people taking C60 in oil who have seen improvements in their conditions which include rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, psoriasis, eczema. There is clear evidence that C60 can reduce inflammation and help people lead normal lives after years of pain and suffering. C60 can improve immune function and intestinal injury by decreasing cellular ROS levels and alleviating oxidative stress.
Observed benefits in general
Increases Longevity
The 2012 Paris Baati study is probably the most famous C60 experiment. It showed that C60 was not only non-toxic, but it increased the lifespan of rats by 90%. The prolongation of the lifespan of rats by repeated oral administration of [60]fullereneIn a 2008 study, C60 improved cognition and extended lifespan of mice. A carboxyfullerene SOD mimetic improves cognition and extends the lifespan of mice
Supports Healthy Aging
In this 2010 double-blind, human study, it was found that when applied topically, C60 was effective at reducing wrinkles. Fullerene is effective against wrinklesC60 may be effective at combating hair loss. In this 2009 study, C60 was found to promote hair growth. Researchers believe it does this by protecting the cells around hair follicles from oxidative damage.
