We rely on innovative graphene technology. For our product EMF-TURTAL we use the principle of Faraday shielding. This principle is an arrangement known as Faraday cage and is used today in electrical engineering for shielding of electrostatic fields. Thus EMF-TURTAL efficiently shields: 5G, LTE, WLAN, and other HF as well as LF loads with shielding values of 29 dB-58 dB (with 2 layers! depending on layer thickness and frequency). We offer our product EMF-TURTAL PLV as a fine powder which must be mixed with water by the customer himself. EMF-TURTAL PLV 2.5 is offered as 1.200 kg container, which, when added to water, produces 2.50 – 2.75 liters of ready-to-paint shielding paint, sufficient for about 10 – 12.5 m² (depending on the substrate for a painted layer).

Advantages of EMF-TURTAL PLV Shielding powder
The advantages of EMF-TURTAL PLV are, among others, the use of the special properties of graphene, the fast drying time and a pleasant working without chemical solvents, which makes our PLV product very low in emissions. As our product must be mixed with water by the end user to prepare it ready for use, we have outsourced a complete work step and can therefore set our end user price lower. We deliberately avoid chemical additives such as antifreeze and solvents.

Our carbon based 5G shielding paint PLV has many advantages, high frequency radio exposure of mobile phones, mobile internet, 5G, WLAN, DECT, GSM, LTE, etc. are shielded highly efficiently and reliably. The electrical fields of the domestic low-frequency current (alternating current) are grounded and can be almost completely shielded or discharged. This 5G shielding paint PLV 2.5 is based on pure acrylate, graphite, and graphene technology. We offer the paint in powder form so that it is largely frost-resistant and can be stored for several years without losing its properties. An easy to apply, high yield shielding paint. It only needs to be mixed with 1.5 liters of water for 10 minutes with a stirrer and a drill (cordless screwdriver) according to the instructions. The yield of the paint on smooth and primed surfaces is 5.0m² per liter (for one painted layer) and 2.5m² per liter (for two painted layers). Particularly time-saving due to the short drying time and after a few hours (through-drying) it can be painted over with most commercially available wall paints without any problems (see enclosed processing instructions). Shielding effectiveness / 500 MHz to 40 GHz. The shielding attenuation values (1-layer, 2-layer) measured by an independent expert can be found in the linked expert opinion. We recommend (depending on the radiation exposure on site) to always protect yourself with at least two coats of paint. All shielding attenuation values given apply to frequencies from 500 MHz to 40 GHz and were measured in an expert opinion by Professor Pauli in Munich. Measurement location: at the measurement stand of the University of the German Armed Forces in Munich.

Strong shielding performance at 5G
Thanks to many years of intensive research work and innovative product development, our 5G shielding paint PLV 2.5 (powder) has a shielding effectiveness in a very wide frequency range (from low-frequency to high-frequency radiation). The strength of our shielding paint lies mainly in the shielding of the - in future often used - extremely high frequencies as with 5G. Since the product launch in 2019 this includes the two 5G frequency spectra FR1 (600 MHz to 6 GHz) and FR2 (24GHz to 40 GHz).

Shielding performance up to 40 GHz
We have an independently prepared, external expert opinion from a longtime renowned expert for high-frequency radar and microwave technology (Prof. Pauli, former University of the German Federal Armed Forces). From this independent expert opinion, you can see the shielding values from 500 MHz up to 40 GHz.

Further details can be found in the processing data sheet. Can be painted over: Should preferably be painted over with dispersion paint for interior use. Do not use wallpaper ABOVE the shielding paint, as the adhesive could dilute it and reduce its protection and the adhesion of the wallpaper to shielding paint is not recommended or guaranteed by us. In any case, avoid all clay-based paints. For natural or biological silicate emulsion paints, lime, and casein paints, we recommend that you always carry out a test before use, as not all paints adhere to graphite / graphene in the same way! We do not recommend pure mineral paints (clay, pure silicate).

Connection: Must be earthed to remove electric fields (recommended in any case)! We recommend the use of a grounding kit and a grounding plug for indoor use, which you can find in our shop,

Important: Always mix a complete bag of PLV 2.5 (never use only a part of the packaging), as heavier particles settle at the bottom during transport. Always stir again before each use, also stir again for 5 minutes before applying the second layer, as particles can settle in the bucket during the drying time of the first layer! Please observe the safety and processing instructions enclosed with the product!
